Heywood Upcoming 2019 Workshops

American Realist Anne Heywood has just announced her upcoming workshop schedule. Heywood Workshops begin on April 8th with Pastel Workshop Week at Spring Island, SC, addressing three separate pastel topics. A one day Paint-a-Long starts off the week (great “warm- up”, reconnect, or beginning with pastels), followed by a two-day Soft Pastel Workshop mid-week, designed for pastel artists of all levels. This week of learning concludes on Friday with The “Other” Pastel: Oil Pastel One-Day Workshop for beginners (or the curious!). Back to Massachusetts for “Landscape Painting with Pastels”, a 2-day workshop at the South Shore Art Center in Cohasset, MA on May 11th and 12th (Saturday and Sunday), a wonderful way to prep for a summer full of painting. Then to midcoast Maine in July for The Heywood 2019 Artist Retreat, a unique workshop that is best described as “a week of pastel art immersion, from seeing demonstrations to painting in studio or plein air to forming lasting friendships and great memories.” All in all, a great “line up” for 2019!
