A “must” course
for new pastel painters and those who are “newly” returning
to pastels. Learn why soft pastels is such a popular
medium today in a two-day workshop packed with information.
Based on my book Pastels Made Easy (Watson-Guptill Publications,
NYC, 2003), this workshop is composed of hands-on step-by-step
instruction covering basic pastel topics, such as painting
techniques, correcting errors, and organizing the painting
process. Suggested supply list provided upon registration.
Beyond the Basics Weekend
October 9 and
10, 2010 (9:30-4
each day )
Tailored to the intermediate student, this
workshop begins with a quick review of basic pastel techniques
and materials, followed by a pastel demonstration with
ongoing explanations using advanced pastel painting techniques.
Plenty of individual guidance while working on your own
masterpieces. This workshop is held indoors in a comfortable
climate controlled space. Suggested materials list provided
