Stretch the holiday mood into Saturday by joining Anne Heywood, artist and gallery owner of the Heywood Gallery, 921 Main Street, Waldoboro, Maine for a fun ArtWalk Waldoboro evening on July 8th from 4 – 7 pm. View her realistic interpretations of local landscapes, still lifes, and pet portraiture, and hear the stories behind the art. Then follow the red balloons to nearby galleries, art studios, and shops.

Just for July, come early to see a special display of historical art at the Waldoborough Historical Society, 1164 Main Street, from 3 – 4:30. And from 1 – 4 pm stop by the new “fashionably vintage” Pinky LaRue, 995 Main Street, for their Grand Opening.

ArtWalk Waldoboro is an annual art event held in Waldoboro Village on the second Saturday of each month from June – October. The Heywood Gallery, located in the historical “Governors’ Mansion”, features the paintings and drawings of American Realist Anne Heywood.
